Like a creature of darkness, wearing a mask, as if a second class citizen, sometimes an assistant and other times a competitor, our "hidden self" has power and keeps reserves of energy. Influenced and restructured by society, family values, education and religion, it brings fear to the adults. The "hidden self" is awakened by strong instincts and the intentions are always pure and honorable. In any case, the creature within is part of our personality, desperately asking for care and attention. As long as we insist on ignoring it, it will be knocking more persistently upon our conscience, sometimes taking the form of a symptom, sometimes by generating energy needs and other times by asking existential desperate questions.
