Georgina Starr (1968)
Politicians sound alike, 1994, Sound installation, acrylic on canvas. 185 x 185 cm

This sound piece titled Politicians Sound Alike was executed in the mid-nineties in Britain, and is unusually politically centered for Starr. Playing only with the sounds of five monosyllabic, onomatopoetic words, Starr made a stark commentary on the spectrum of political corruption of the day.
